Hobbits

Hobbits Name: Homo periannath (Homo diminutivins) Hobbits are small hominids with extraordinary speed and dexterity. They are physically tough and hearty, and are similar in height Dwarves. Hobbits do have the physical strength of a Dwarf, but they can hold their own when troubled times appear.

They have extremely acute hearing, and while small, are good fighters and very loyal. Hobbits are susceptible to many kinds of human diseases and recover from their aliments almost as quickly as humans recover from theirs. If they are injured in battle or other physical mishaps, the Hobbits have a moderate recovery rate. They exhibit average to high intellect, and display a very quick wit.

They are very adept at learning, being able to master any weapon or object (such as a lock pick) with little effort. Hobbits are a tough, small, and quick race. They are capable of great feats of dexterity and subterfuge Hobbits are also gregarious creatures, although they do use the human language exclusively.

Hobbits love to socialize and mingle with their fellow neighbors. They also like to eat and drink with members of all races, although they do have an aversion to trolls. Being a sneaky folk, many non-hobbits feel uncomfortable when Hobbits are near for they fear the Hobbits may steal their possessions.

Hobbits have been observed to attack a monster and leave the room before the opponent could react. Almost natural thieves, Hobbits are of average intelligence and have voracious appetites. A full grown hobbit will eat as much as an adult troll. They like to have 6 warm meals a day. They also drink vast amounts of alcohol which has little effect on their systems. As for the hobbits of the Shire, in the days of their peace and prosperity they were a merry folk.

They dressed in bright colors, being notably fond of yellow and green; but they seldom wore shoes, since their feet had tough leathery soles and were clad in a thick curling hair, much like the hair of their heads, which was commonly brown. Their faces were as a rule good-natured rather than beautiful, broad, bright-eyed, red-cheeked, with mouths apt to laughter, and to eating and drinking just like ever other Hobbit and they loved smoking pipes with their home grown tobacco.
